HINTS

Like Water
When deploying troops emulate water; flow from high ground and constantly change according to the terrain - use your formations wisely and adapt them to the changing circumstance of battle.

Concentration against Fragmentation
Use diversions to keep your enemy guessing about your actual size and location - a long line of troops on a hillside can make a small force look large and make the enemy divide his force, then concentrate your attack in one place while your enemy is fragmented.

Victory not Duration
Fight and resolve quickly, do not protract a battle as it will drain your resources and leave you vulnerable - when you are away fighting your neighbours will take advantage and invade.

Move only when it benefits you
Choose your time of attack wisely - if your opponent relies on muskets then attack when it is wet - they will be rendered useless
